How functional is that tub enclosure?

It looks like there are hinges that allow the door to swing out - wouldn't that door hit the toilet? We have the same guest bathroom set-up. I would love something like that but is it funtional?

There is not a door. We chose to install fixed glass only. In tight spaces like this, you can install a bypass or barn door so the shower door swing does not interfere with the toilet. You might be able to have a narrow door that opens out on to the wall that you can't see. It would have to be narrow enough to not hit the toilet as you mentioned.

thank you for your response. We were going to go with a side stationary panel like the one above but then the person needs to step into the tub to turn on the shower....and we have all experienced how unpleasant that can be. It appears the only choice is the double sliding doors

That is true - not ideal, and I always make clienta aware of this functional issue.
