So I had a contractor come out to look at our balcony project. It needs some major repairs, new railing, and then we want to screen it. He said the screens they use are virtually clear when you are inside looking out, but that they look black from the outside. I'm concerned that will look ugly from the outside. We are on a lake so I do care what it will look like from the outside. I guess if we had a normal enclosed back yard I wouldn't care bc nobody would be looking at it unless they climbed their fence. Is that normal for it to look black from the outside?
