How about some hints as to where and how you are growing them?

Growing outdoors in extra large pot with good drainage, only 1 plant in pot. I'm in AZ, current weather dry and 75-85 during day. Night temps down to 55-65.

Has it been windy? It looks like wind damage to me -- dry edges and curl.

The wind doesn't have to be strong to do this (just dry).

It's a good idea to increase humidity around the plants -- frequent light showers from a watering can, covering with cloches, installing a windbreak, etc.

We've been enjoying 40 mph winds for the last two weeks...

Doesn't look like disease to me... looks like physical damage. 1st pic leaves look like they could have been partially eaten by something like a caterpillar (where thin or holes), and sun or chemical burned (tan spots). 2nd pic looks like leaf edges were eaten by something like a caterpillar or beetle -- possibly before fully unfurled.
