Wiring between Ecodan heat pump and pre-plumbed cylinder

Anyone got an idiot's guide to how to connect the FTC5 controller on a Mitsubishi pre-plumbed cylinder to one of their Ecodan heat pumps? Neither manual is especially forthcoming on the subject. They both talk about wiring for the unit in question but not connecting the two.


Any ideas?
