Hi! I am redecorating my den and have already painted the walls, will be doing a black limewash on the fireplace and replacing the hearth with a 2" thick slate slab with (the current tiles are broken) , the chairs are being reupholstered in a cream boucle with the wood taken down to the raw oak color, sofa to be reupholstered in linen colored chenille and the rug will be larger and a rust colored antique. There will be wall sconces and layered lighting. Kelly Wearstler "Graffito" roman shades on the windows. (the last pic is the not-great- photoshopped version of all of this)

My design dilemma is: the ceiling. I like the beams as they are and was thinking of possibly wallpapering in a classic William Morris print that is large scale and darker but got the sample yesterday and not super into it. Now im thinking maybe a natrual grasscloth? The stark contrast is not the vibe I'm going for as this is a den -I want cozy, eclectic, sophisticated. The use of this room is for sitting by the fire, watching movies, lounging. My inspiration for this room is Heidi Caillier's Anderson Island project (and pretty much her general moody aesthetic)

But the ceiling is my one obstacle, Any thoughts? Thanks!!
