You have a small space that has a lot going on: Storage, broom closet, laundry, and clothes line for drying.

Nobody needs that much cleaning supplies. Ever. Start tossing, If you throw it out, hubby will get the clue that buying in bulk isn't the way to go. Just throw it out.

I agree, use the space over the W/D for storage. Needs to be cabinets that go to the ceiling. Keep a small folding step stool in there so you can reach things.

Install a smaller sink - with a base cabinet for storage and cabinets above for cleaning supplies.

Install a fold out drying rack of some kind next to the sink

How would you camouflage the laundry sink with a minimal budget? I know that cabinetry and/or replacing it would be options; however, is there anything less expensive that I can do?

You could make a skirt to hide the laundry sink. There are lots of examples of those around.

I can't tell what you have underneath the sink but you may be able to get stacking shelves or bins under there to use for storage also.

You'll need to measure the space you have above the washer and dryer to see what size cabinets you can fit there. If you are going to have 2 cabinets I'm not sure there is enough room for anything in between them.

That "kink" in your dryer exhaust hose could be a problem at some point.

I would not put shelves between cabinets - neither the shelves nor the cabs would then be big enough to be really useful.

Do you usually leave the laundry room door open?

Do you really need a laundry tub? We don't have one and I haven't missed it. Had one in our old house, so I thought I would miss it, but no.

I do use the laundry sink frequently enough that I would miss it. Thanks for the suggestion on replacing the sink. Makes sense. There are dog cleaning supplies in rolling bucket under the sink. LOL

The laundry room door stays firmly closed at all times. It's my least favorite room in the house for obvious reasons.

Is the wall behind the dryer an outside wall? Perhaps you can move the vent.

The laundry room is in the middle of the second floor and does not have an exterior wall. The hall wraps around 3 sides, and a bedroom is on the other side of the 4th wall.

The house has a lot of angles, hence the angled walls adjacent to the laundry sink.
