Many higher-end washers have built in heaters. Any washer that has a steam button has a water heater. Any LG front loader with a model number equal to or higher than 3600 has a heater.

The better question is which washers besides Miele guarantee that the water will hit its set temp and be maintained. Another question is which washers will do a true profile wash? Profile washes start cool and slowly warm the water. This helps release stains and prevent them from being set into the fabric.

outside of the Sanitary cycle I don’t know of any washer besides Miele that maintains/guarantees to hit the set t temp that the user selects.

Littlegreeny, that simply is not true, only Miele offers an onboard heater, bosh use to, but not anymore.

Can you give us a link to where you are getting the information that Bosch washing machine models in North America no longer have on-board water heaters and that LG washing machines do not have them even though parts and wiring diagrams clearly show that they all do? Or, did you, maybe, mean something in line with Luna's point about the lack of water heating programming functions such as profile washes?

Filtering the AJ Madison site by on-board heater, it looks like many models and brand have heaters: washer (ajmadison.com)

I don't know the ins and outs of this in terms of what to actually look in the feature but would like to know more because when I replace my machine I definitely want an internal water heater.
