We are needing some help with landscaping along this ugly retaining wall. We will be updating the deck and removing all of the lattice, and we would like for this area to be a feature area that goes from being an eye sore to a highlight. We live in Northeast Nebraska Zone 5a, and this area is on the southwest side of our house and will be full sun.

The tallest point of the privacy wall is 4’ 3”, and the length of the bed in front of the wall is 22’. We can make the depth of the bed whatever we need. The sprinkler system is about 12’ out (possibly further), and it can be moved, if needed.

For reference, the height of the railing on the deck behind the retaining wall is about 14’.
