We have soapstone countertops that I am quite fond of, but my wife, not so much, as they were never properly finished (we just had our GC install them). I would like to have them properly finished (edges, corners, one seam, new sink cutout), and hope she may like them better after that.

I remember seeing everyone singing Florida Joshua's praises here, but sadly, it seems they may no longer be in the business, so wondered a) if by chance anyone knows of anyone in NOLA (or Louisiana) who is skilled with soapstone, or b) anyone else like Josh, who might travel to do the work. Definitely would be willing to foot the travel bill for someone who is an expert in this.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!
