Short term suggestion, consider purchasing chandelier chain fabric cord covers to camouflage your wires. Long term suggestion, move the cable and electrical outlets to another wall of the room so that you dont have a cabinet and TV blocking your window.

Is it possible that the fireplace mantel can be lowered? Then you'd remove the rectangle molding and possibly put the TV above the FP.

I recommend you get a price for Sonny 62 suggestion of moving the cable outlet. In some areas the cable companies do it; in others, a electrician can. It can be cheaper than buying something to hide it especially if this is a first floor with a basement underneath it or other situation where cable outlets can easy to install.

Buy a longer cable wire and choose a white one. From the cable outlet, lead the wire straight down and run along your white baseboard. I believe there are clips available to keep them in place. This picture shows the general idea. I would probably place the cable wire right along the top of the baseboard.

Not every situation calls for major work. Switch out the cable line so it’s long enough without the box hanging out in the middle of the wall. Pin the cable to the wall, down to the baseboard as suggested above, then put a basket or a plant in front of the outlet. It’ll still be accessible, won’t cost a fortune, or require construction repairs.

I do like the suggestion of getting longer cables and have the cables more in a line and on the wall but I still think you are then stuck with the same issue.

If you like or have to have the TV and stand where it is I would add some floor to ceiling drapes and a few additional options for that space.

A mirror or window fram e or both layered. If you do a floor mirror by the TV I wouldn't do one here. flank it with corbels, corbel sconces or lanterns and add in seasonal and layered details and wreaths etc. Oh and I put another floor mirror option in here for by the TV.
