Entryway paint dilemma

My husband and I are looking to paint the walls of our entry way. Painting them white/a light color feels dangerous as these walls take a beating. Should we paint them the same gray as the lockers? We are also looking to paint the laundry room walls (which are adjacent to the entryway) Should those also be the same color? Thanks ahead of time!
