Three years ago, we had a small leak from our dishwasher that created minor damage in our basement bathroom. The leak was fixed and everything is completely dry now. The contractor who built the bathroom used UltraLight Mold Tough drywall in this area, which is not next to/over the shower.

I'd like to fix this damage, and want to know if I can simply scrape off the peeling tape and small amount of damaged surface, then patch with drywall compound and re-tape. Or, do I need to cut out the chunks of damaged drywall and replace them completely?
