Kay, thanks for checking. We were in a narrow wedge between two large storms with straight line winds. Some power outages. But no serious damage here. Lots of local flooding with some road damage. I think Nashville suffered with flooding and unfortunately deaths from that flooding. Ready for these spring storms to be done.

Kay, we're fine here, although there were some scary times overnight. The flooding is bad in several areas here, as many creeks have flooded and our two major rivers are near flood stage. Luckily we live on a rise, so flooding is not much of a threat for us. We got 5.75 inches of rain yesterday. Four people died here over night from the flooding, and 130 people had to be evacuated, along with 40 dogs who were being boarded at a kennel. I hope we're done with these bad storms for awhile.

Good to hear you all survived unscathed. I hate to say this, but we need rain here. The bad weather threats turned out to be drizzle.

I am so glad to hear it. I knew it looked bad in both of your areas, and when I saw the flooding was so bad and saw the storms, I wanted to be sure you both were okay. We just actually saw the tornado damage that just missed us and we only thought we were grateful. It was very impressive terrible damage.

I saw on the news all the flooding in Nashville, so glad you are ok Debra. My son is on the side of a steep hill so does not have to worry about flooding. I hate this time of year! I should say, I do love spring, just not these storms that come with it.

Glad to hear all are ok . Mother Nature can sure pack a wallop when she decides to . We have had some real nasty winds here but like Sherry we need rain.
