We are kinda struggling to figure out the right proportions for our trim work. We are redoing all the trim work: windows, doors, and baseboards in the craftsman style.

We have standard 8 ft ceilings. So I think we are leaning towards 4” 1/4 baseboard

But we are debating door/window casing size 2” 1/4 or 3” 1/4?

Also unsure of the door/window header sizes. I think we want 1” 1/4 x 1/2” fillet (rounded bull nose) then we are unsure of the top casing size maybe 4” 1/4? then a 1x2” casing cap on top.
