As Patricia states, you can work with the metal ones that have a great colour match to your floors. If you must have the 'wood look' colour match you can find the unstained vents (high-end flooring store) and pay someone TONS of money to stain them for you. It will be close to a match...but never perfect. Which is to say you could spend HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of dollars on a wood-worker to stain them...only to get the same type of 'match' as a metal one...as Patricia eluded to.

Thanks ladies! I was more so thinking the low subtle profile because of the vents locations in my living room are actually inset 3.5” into the middle of the floor, so I figured they were more of an obstacle than anything if they weren’t flush. Everywhere else I was ok with regular vents.

Aria vents or similar; they will work with most flooring selections. Go to the better tile stores and they'll have them.

I'm going to point out the Elephant in the room. The laminate will be FLOATING. An insert in a floating floor is not possible. You MUST leave the 1/2" cut around the cuts...and that just makes for another mess. One you didn't think of.

Floating floors do not get the same treatment/options as a permanent floor. The vent in your photo is sitting in a 'permanent floor' installation...like tile, stone or nail/glue/staple hardwood.

I know you want a floor that sits 100% flush. I've seen that on your other thread. A floating floor will not offer that to you. You will have to put in T-mouldings through all doorways (from hallway to bedroom, or kitchen opening to living room...etc).

Agree with all of the above. If you want to go with a flushed mount, your only option is to go with Aria flushmount pro, only if you haven't installed laminate yet (the insert will need to be installed on the subfloor first). Cost can add up quickly if you have more than 1 vent.

This is all so helpful but also kind of a bummer to hear at the same time. Thank you all for your vast knowledge. I am learning a lot through this experience.
