Never heard of them doing this service unless they break w a window with a stone from a blower or mower. But does not hurt to ask as many will do almost anything for a few money. They may need to schedule a separate time to clean it up and you may get the "D" crew. Just ask.

What millworkman said, ask them and they might do it, but expect a few pieces being left here or there especially if it's a grassy area because only so much you can do with a rake, not to mention some of the glass, etc could be embedded into the dirt so I wouldn't rush letting kids out there playing even when they do their best to clean it up.

That said since you ve doing rehab on the entire place, let them lift what they can and bring some dirt, and regrade the lot or most of the area around the house and do some mulch bedding, planting, etc

Actually it's amazing what a rake and shop vac with the wet nozzle attachment picks up (allows you to vacuum a larger area). We had a glass top table blow off the patio into the grass and shatter. Having dogs we had to do a thorough job of cleaning the area. They never came in from the yard with any injuries.

If it was a party house, then like has been suggested, a complete scrape off of that top layer and replacing might be a more effective and easier option than trying to clean the stuff out of the dirt that is there.

My experience has been that glass rises to the surface of soil over time. You can go around and pick up the shards, but there is more under there waiting to come up. If you can get a thick layer of grass to grow, it seems to keep the glass from reaching the surface.
