How about some context to your complaint if you would like people to think it is legit.

Lorenzo, you come accross as a BS artist.

No description of what the problem is, no pics, we don’t even know whether it’s Renewal by Andersen or actually Andersen. SMH, this must be fake.

All hardware tarnished even Window Rama says it has to be replaced under 3 months all pitted. They say it’s natural patina they have changed their warranty after the fact January 26 2021 read (living finishes) Casements are flexing so they won’t close properly some casements have double hinge they are fine the one missing hinge all warp they are top of the line E series their own techs are recorded disagreeing. Windows were extremely late on delivery they were rushed so they have quality issues. The tech said windows are only wind rated when closed so buffeting can damage them, with child safety they only open 20 degrees so as per tech it was blowing 15-20 mph the day he was there he said windows should not be open. I pressed him to give me a wind speed he said 15-20 is too much. I asked him why do I have screens? He said sales people will sell you anything. I wanted reports of damage and repair plan he said there are some repairs but, won’t specify in writing. Also their stainless is failing and they won’t do right on that either. At this point the dealer has stopped selling E-series and are fighting with Andersen

Andersen also look at their Facebook under comments they remove all negative it clearly states some comments filtered out! So it will show ten comments and then you click there is one the rest have been removed.

"The tech said windows are only wind rated when closed so buffeting can damage them"

How would you propose having a wind rating on an open window?

So their Ferrari of windows as they stated can’t handle 15-20mph opened 20 degrees? That’s sad considering the windows and doors were spect. To location .

Can’t load pictures or I would it’s 180,000 dollars in windows and doors and half are fine. The ones missing top brace are failing.

Not saying I disagree with you but your not giving anything anyone can help you with only offering a one sided opinion, and no window that I am aware of has any sort of warranty on an open window. I do not deal with residential products but have not heard of these issues and no plenty of people who have and others who sell the products. The quality issues kind of dropped off once Andersen purchased Eagle to my knowledge.

"The ones missing top brace are failing."

The rep will not have the top brace added? Is the brace only used on certain sizes as a standard?

Correct millworkman the repair guys admitted they are having issues with E-series they also admitted that they can’t keep up with production. This started right before Covid they used Covid as an excuse for repair delays and now are just floundering.

Lorenzo, why are you posting here?

Because Andersen purges any negative info anywhere else especially Facebook this sight you can get honest info out on.

Millworkman they are trying to figure out what to do a lot of people coming out they tried to say some windows have braces some don’t, they said bigger ones do smaller one don’t then it was pointed out small ones had them and same size windows same casement were built different from one floor to next. The hardware issue is a debacle also the lock mechanism hardware rattles and comes off they admit that’s a problem the finish failure is an argument depending who you speak with etc. Doors have alignment issues also.

Wish I could post the pics and video pretty bad... The dealer and Anderson are having issues also. I feel for the dealer at this point.

Windowrama (if they are the ones I am familiar with) is known in the industry for being a standup company when it comes to product service and warranty. If your on the island I may know the rep (area dependent) and he is a stand up guy as well. I honestly have no idea how the Covid deal has effected the residential market as I deal predominantly commercial these days.

Window Rama is getting frustrated Anderson actually accused them of building a door saying the staples (fasteners ) did not look factory which is ridiculous and they also accused them of not ordering correct doors for water which they clearly checked box in computer. I have letters going back and forth and Anderson rep said it’s Eagle and Anderson is having issues this will wind up in court soon been going on almost 1 1/2 years I deal with WindowRama in NJ but have spoken to Mgmt in Long Island the techs from WindowRama are good guys also.

Then get off the internet slamming Andersen if you have that good of a case let the court work. All you are doing is causing yourself grief for the future by posting all of this now. I am thru and good luck.
