dacor cooktop and ovens

I'm considering the Dacor cooktop and double ovens because they look absolutely amazing, but I'm hesitating because I can't find a lot of positive reviews, and the older posts aren't very good. Any reviews or suggestions for something sleek, preferably black, that will look great in a modern kitchen but won't make me sorry I chose it?

I'm going to order the cooktop and ovens! I've been told that most of the complaints for the brand were for the refrigerator, and I'm going Thermador for that. After asking around locally, I feel comfortable ordering it at this point.

We had Dacor 30" range in our old house. we loved it.

no issues! you could fit big cookie sheets. I too had seen mixed reviews but went for it. I did hear that part of the company was bought out. we had bought prior to this so could have been made better prior to the buyout.

We have Dacor island cooktop & Wall Oven/Microwave. The only complaing I have is the knobs on the cooktop are really difficult to clean around. Wish they were off to the side. Other than that, we have been happy with them.

I appreciate the heads up on the discoloration issue, since I was planning on getting the brass and black!
