My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Paint colors to go with German Smear?

We are building a new home, where the entire front will be German Smeared brick with black windows. We need paint colors for the siding, trim, and shutters. Our original choice was Sherwin Williams Repose Grey, but our builder wants us to steer away from lighter greys, as it seems everyone on our street is choosing those. We thought of going a few shades darker, perhaps SW Dorian Grey or Acier Grey. We also thought of doing some sort of navy blue. Thoughts? (The pictures are of houses with German Smear for reference.) Thank You!

    Hello, we are also doing German Smear on existing brick. For shutters and trim, we are going with Keystone Gray or Warm Stone by Sherwin Williams.
