Two things--the uppers above the DW and the corner cabinets will not be accessible with the DW open, so to solve that dilemma, omit the peninsula. But--you have no landing space for the ovens and fridge, so the peninsula will be useful for that. Since you already have this layout, except for wall ovens, you probably already know all the issues.

A measured overhead would help in offering advice, especially about the peninsula.

Thanks so much! Yes the DW blocking access is a problem, as well as the choke point the peninsula creates esp when we have people over. I’m just worried about losing the counter and cabinet space it provides. Here are the measurements, everything is in inches.

I wonder if a range hood inset into cabinetry like below would help with storage? Could be more accessible for unloading the dishwasher. Not wrapping cabinets to the window on that wall would leave room to add open shelves (downsized from your inspiration photo but still a feature) closer to the window and do your tile to the ceiling around the window instead. You could remove the peninsula and in it's place put a tall floor to ceiling pantry cabinet (appx 36") that would replace it for storage. Adjust the size of the cabinet next to it so it leaves room for your tile feature maybe 6-9 inches possibly? Then add in a narrow island which would be handy for entertaining and extra counter space.

Oops, I forgot to say leave 6 to 9 inches from your window edge so there is room for tile on the left side of your sink.
