New house needs some character

My new house is a pretty blank slate. I'll be pretty tapped out after the down payment but I'd love some ideas for quick, cheap improvements. Thx!

DO NOT, ever. do a cheap improvement on a home in which you have invested your hard earned savings.

Paint the front door high gloss black….and the storm door.

Judy- cheap was a poor word choice- meant something that would add some oomph without breaking the bank. I like the black door idea.

Your house is great. Save for every improvement. This is your major investment.

Definitely a beautiful black front door in a gloss finish and with that metal overhang, try BM Almost Black.

I was thinking about painting the lower(brick) a different color and adding a modern block font address. Ideas on color?

Honestly, if you think your house doesn't have curb appeal, I don't know what kind of house you think would. It's a beautiful house with a lot of character. Maybe you don't have good taste? Unfortunate that you don't see the beauty in this house!
