Did you try to scrape it off? Use something like a flexible putty knife so that you won’t make gouges.

Try some Naptha.

Can you get a closer photo? I've dealt with this on two different floors, but I was able to find a way to scrape it off.

Have you tried to use a razor-blade scraper on a tiny patch to see if you can get it off flush? Go slowly and make sure the blade is perfectly parallel to the floor so that you don't scratch or gouge it.*

I had this problem- worse than your picture actually, the pink rubber had melted from carpet cleaning and was hard as a rock, firmly stuck to the floor. I tried all kinds of solvents and scrapers without good success. I finally found a floor refinisher who said he could take care of it, and he did in no time! Just sanded it off with the old finish.

I did mine by hand with a 5 in 1 painters tool and a heat gun set on low. Heat -gently scrape - repeat.
I didn’t have the $ for a full refinishing job. I had already moved in so I did a 3x3 square every night and moved furniture around.

Rubbing alcohol ( isopropyl alcohol)works on some things you wouldn't think it work on. Maybe some denatured alcohol from hardwood store. Eventually something will work. Do a spot and wait over night to see if it messes with finish too much.

Ohh... I understand. I recommend that you contact the cleaning company's services and don't torment yourself as it doesn't make sense. I'm just like when I had a renovation in my new house, at the end of the renovation, it was so dirty, Lord, and I didn't know what to do or where to start. It was unimaginable dirt. I was really scared because I had a job to do, too, and everything was on my head. Then I decided to turn to a cleaning company's services and was very satisfied because it was done very quickly and efficiently. In my opinion, the price was good. I recommend the company "move out cleaning wimbledon " and others with confidence.
