I have privacy shrubs on all sides here. Close neighbors in urban area.

Need more info to recommend. Where on the plan are these plants going? What is your zone? What do you ideally want - dense can’t see neighbors at all? More open? how much maintenance? Height? Flowering vs foliage? Soil conditions? Etc.

The planting area is clouded on the plan (towards the upper left. The project is in NY which I believe is Zone 7a. Would like it on the denser side but not completely shut out neighbor. Maintenance - willing to maintain. Height: 20’+ . Would like a mix of foliage and flowering. Not sure about the soul condition. Would like to have a mixture of texture and color. Layered.

what is the soil type ... does it drain ...

nothing stops growing at some magical height ... and they either grow fast to that height and beyond... or they grow slowly to that height ... why is that height important ..

and what is the RA after your name???

what does root celler mean in zone 7???

@ken_adrian Adrian MI cold Z5 yes a lot more information is needed. There are any number of shrubs you could put there. I believe that RA = registered architect.

unless hes scooby.. and hes a randscape architect ... ruff rough....
