Help identify my mystery purple fragrant iris

I inherited this iris when we bought our house in 1997. It is very fragrant, and blooms in March and April here in Santa Barbara, CA. I call it my "grape Kool Aid iris". I have propagated it and given it to many friends over the years. Any idea of its identity? Thanks so much!

I have these as well. They are a very old heirloom variety. I think they are called Perfection, from circa 1880.

A T, thanks for the suggestion, but I went to a number of sites and looked at a bunch of pics of Perfection, and it's not my mystery iris. But thanks so much!

A T, does your iris look more like the iris Perfection, or more like the one in my picture? Is your iris ultra-fragrant? I'll definitely let you know if I find out an I.D.!
