the first looks like some tree/shrub seedling to me

the second could be some Atriplex (salt bush or orache)

To me .... top looks like a Prunus or Malus. Bottom looks like Chenopodium album.

The second one neither poppies, nor orach, nor lamb's quarters IMO. Know them very well. Don't know what it is though.

Thank you everyone! I direct sowed some other types of seeds besides poppies and wanted to make sure I wasn’t pulling out things I wanted to grow.

the tree reminds me of rogue seedlings i see under my crabapple trees ... probably digested pre-fertilized pellets dropped from the bird that ate the crabapple in mid winter ...

some of the trees hold the fruit thru winter .. and the birds eat them after they are fermented ... thank goodness they arent too near my windows ...

Don't pull out all the seedlings on the second pic, leave at least one to grow, and then post a new pic here. I don't mind to be proven wrong, but still remain unconvinced that it is Chenopodium album.

Well, may be it is Chenopodium album. Have almost only Chenopodium giganteum sprouting in my garden for the last several years, Chenopodium album I pull without even looking too closely at it any more, but all those pictures on the Net look similar to OP's. Sorry for all this mess floral.
