Apparently only people are affected by "real feel" and not plants. I find it a little hard to wrap my head around the concept though. On Wednesday we are supposed to get 10-15 cm (4-5 inches) of snow. It is a good thing that only a few Hosta are barely up. I will just cover them with leaves. I knew I was not in the clear since our weather has been too good to be true.

i saw on the 'way to early forecast' for next week ... 3 to 6 inches of snow in my area ... though you may never see that much.. as a lot of it will melt once it hits the ground . before accumulating ...

Debra, we are supposed to experience some snow on Tuesday and two nights of lows in the upper 20’s. My hosta pots went back in the shed today, will be returning on Thursday. I’m hoping the hosta in the ground that have started to leaf out will survive this intact.

I actually covered some of mine that were leafing out the last two nights. Many of mine are just breaking the ground with pips. I covered as many of those as I could and I will just hope for the best.
