Really I have no idea what your question is . You need to post pics of your space and what you are using for inspiration since I find that article quite helpful. I will add not all rooms can handle a canopy bed . I have quite a large bedroom but I found even the canopy metal framework just did not work in my space so we left it off.

I'm specifically looking for a rod or post like the top one in this pic. Not the color but just to find out what this type of hardware is or where I can find something like it. I don't want to mount to the ceiling. I'll a post pic of my space. I'm waiting to paint until I've decided where everything goes so it's very bland rn
