Crown Rot Rehab?

Last summer I had a hosta that clearly had crown rot. So, I dug it and tossed it in the woods. Now, it's toying with me. It APPEARS healthy. Heck, it looks better than it did before it developed crown rot. Should I leave it and let it eventually bite the dust? Pot it and isolate it and see what happens?
