I'm looking to get some more opinions on how this is done. I wanted a trimless window for our bathroom remodel and the GC said it wasn't a problem and could do it. This was approximately the look we were going for:

I've looked up a few videos by now on how to achieve this and don't think the GC is doing this right. That said, at this point, I just want to figure out how to make it not look horrible. It looks like most of these trimless window designs with the jamb extensions being emphasized with wood has a small reveal around the edges that make it look more finished. The GC thinks they can make a frame to fit into the opening here that would go over the raw edge of the tiles. Here's a picture of our window wall fully re-tiled at the moment:

My questions: Is the situation we are in salvageable? If so, how? Is it still possible to switch to tiling over the window's existing jamb extensions that weren't removed? Am I freaking out for no reason?

Any other advice on how to move forward especially regarding the fact that this is a bathroom? Please and thank you in advance!
