We are doing a kitchen from IKEA with white doors on the upper cabinets and black on the lower cabinets. Initially we were going to do white frames for both. So when you open the white or black doors you'd see white inside. It's just what we've always had, white interiors, so it felt normal to me. However, IKEA was recommending their brown/black wood look for the lower black door fronts. And now IKEA is out of some white frames for the uppers, so I'm curious if it could look nice with the dark frames with white cabinet doors? Or would it look strange? Plus, I'm not sure how dark the inside cabinets will seem with a dark interior.

Who has dark frames for IKEA cabinetry? Tell me, how dark are they? Are you happy with them over the white frame?
