Hi!

Expanding, gutting and putting in a whole new kitchen and powder room. Our existing space has a powder room smack dab in the middle of it. We're pushing out the back of the house (past the story frame) to line up to the current screened enclosed porch, and will remove the porch to create a large kitchen that encompasses the entire back of the house. Any ideas for using the space creatively? It will be a kosher kitchen including two sinks, a double oven, two dishwashers. We host friends and family weekly (pre-covid) including 12 guests at a time, so lots of hosting and cooking! We do have an architect and he suggested a layout that we don't love (he's aware, and we have a meeting set up next week). We don't feel the need for a mudroom, hate the bottle neck that has been created with the powder room/mud room at the back of house. We feel the old screened in porch is not at all used efficiently, he just put a table in the middle of it.

Would love to come to him with some ideas for the space.
