You shower enclosure glass is tempered. Any holes in the glass would have had to be made prior to tempering at the factory. Can you mount a rod to the wall allowing the hand held to move up and down and swing left or right?

where would I find one of those? It is not a complete enclosure but a half wall of glass that just happens to be on the tub spout side. I didn't want the tub spout and shower head on opposite walls.

The manufacturer of your shower valve and personal shower may offer a slide bar option as well.

I know this is old but how did you solve the shower head and glass panel issue?

I will have this same problem in my guest bath. Bath faucet on the same side as the half wall, half glass panel. I've been looking for glass-mount shower heads or mounts but having no luck.

Consider a ceiling mount shower head.

Seems like this is a problem a ton of people are having- why aren't there slide bars that let you mount the top to the ceiling, and the bottom to the knee wall?

Looks like the problem still hasn't been solved and I would like to do this too. Did you ever figure it out?
