I vote: no runner. Your entryway and floors are beautiful❣️I like your look “as is”. I am from the school of decorating that “less is more”.

Your floors are stunning! And you have a great space! While no rugs/runners would be ideal to showcase the floors, it looks like you felt the need to have something at least in the 2 areas, by the door and bottom of stairs. In that case, unifying the 2 mats in one runner would be visually best.

I would not go further with a longer runner to avoid making the space look narrow. You have a very nice spacious entryway!

The runner can be in beige and black to pull together the floors and stairs carpet. Something like these

If you dont like the idea of a runner at all then I suggest you stay away from using the same mat in the two spots. I would use a round mat at the bottom of the stairs and a rectangular or semicircle mat at the entrance in different but complenentary colors.
