No, you don't have enough space for that. It's way too tight near your doorway and desk area. If you wanted a sectional with a chaise, it would have to be smaller, and the chaise end should be in front of the sliders, not next to your desk.

Do you mean that the chaise would need to be left facing? The pink chair is in front of a bayed window and I was standing in the doorway.

Best to have at least 25% more wall than sofa, and you need to open the door too. Open it all the way and then measure what is left of the wall. Then take 75% of than and you have your max sofa length. For best flexibility in arranging chaise sofas, get a reversible one so you can flip the chaise part from right to left when you decide to change things up or when you move to another house.

so, the advice given is for a public space. If this is your relax room (plus you already ordered it) I think it will be fine :) Plus, aren't those closet doors?

Thanks! Based on that my max sofa length is 100.5”. I was thinking a left facing would look strange with the chaise in front of the window, assuming chair not there, but maybe not.

The doors on either side of the desk are closet doors. I can cancel the one I ordered. Supposed to be here 2/8 and latest estimate is 5/24. I know things are delayed everywhere, but am getting tired of the constant delays and could get the sectional right away.

Getting something that won't work as well for a few more weeks of waiting isn't a good trade off. Everything seems delayed these days, but I think you'll be happier with the 86" sofa. It's more versatile and will fit better in the space.
