This tree peony has never been this happy. I'm now guessing it didn't have enough water as it's planted on a slope. I can fix the problem!

Lovely gardenchloe! My peonies are on a completely different time line as they are all still hard buds. Yours are absolutely stunning! You have so many exotic varieties!

My first one for the year bloomed today!! I'll see if I can get a picture up at some point...

Yesterday, fairly well "took care" of the flowers on this plant. After some record highs in the mid-90's, the wind kicked in again. There are others blooming, however. Beautiful pictures of the flowers on this thread, GardenChloe!

My peonies are growing like gangbusters this season with all the rain we've been having! Also, I've ended up with several Abalone Pearls - which is fine by me ;) Here they are against the red poppies and nine bark.

Gjcore...I just have one word for that : "WOW".

This is first year bloom for this one that Lizbest gave me a couple years ago.

My pink one bloomed. It has never been first before.

We put Miracle Grow on all three of them in the spring. Not sure if that was a good or bad thing. There aren't tons of blooms on them and only one did better on greenery than normal. The other two did not. In fact one was worse.

Peonies about gone now, but sure enjoyed them!

My Center Glow Nine Bark bloomed wonderfully this year! They look like mini bouquets. Here's a pic in combination with my stripped Peony.
