We are doing some updates on a place we bought recently. The drawers in the kitchen and bathroom currently have just a single centered knob on them. I’d like to update them to pulls.

Would recommend using a backplate or would you stick to something like a cup pull or solid bar pull? There are some options I’m interested in but certainly there are many more choices if I use a backplate. Thanks for any thoughts.
