Yikes that is a LOT of texture. You have several undertones happening. I would go with BM Simply White. Something quiet. There are a lot of notes in that symphony.

Thank you Amanda and Greta! I’ll check out both your suggestions. I have been considering a sage green paint for the cabinets and a monotone beige backsplash in a hexagon shape to pick up the colors in the granite. Too much?

@slgick well honestly my advice would be to pick a single element which will be the star. You have too many competing textures. The granite is busy, the floor is somewhat dramatic and that current backsplash is really a lot. If you are open to changing it tone it waaaayyy down. A very plain subway tile would be my advice. I know it sounds boring but you really don't want any more elements that demand attention. Both the cabinets and backsplash should fade into the background, You can add color with your decor.

Clients often want each and every piece to be a statement piece and that is a mistake. If one part of the kitchen is really bold, the rest should be fairly understated. Otherwise you just have chaos. I would stick with white of some variety.

I'd save money by not painting the cabinets. They look like nice maple ones. That should give you enough to change both the countertop and the backsplash. I'd use a warm white quartz and simple white backsplash. The whole space will be transformed.

I agree with the suggestion to keep the existing cabinets as is; they look good. I’d replace the backsplash with something very calm, and consider replacing the granite with something less busy, as it’s competing with the flooring.

I would change out the back splash, paint the uppers white, and leave everything else.
