I had an excess of mother in law's tongue 20 years ago (living as house plants) and noticed how prolific they became in their pots when I would put them outside in the summer (in southern, coastal California). I planted them in the front bed of my home. Some visitors found that strange and kind of scoffed at them. It took awhile, but now I feel vindicated!!!
