Following this. We have almost the exact same island shape/size. One "arm" of the L goes into the kitchen and the other has seating. We plan on having 2 lights over the seating arm, but I am not sure on size or placement yet.

How is the rest of your kitchen laid out? I'm just curious if it's similar to mine or not. I'm glad to find another person with an L shaped island. It was the only shape that made sense for our layout, but I've never actually seen one in real life!

Curious what you decided. Having the same dilemma with our planned l-shaped island. 113” long on one side, 60” on the other side of the L- whole thing is 36” wide. Looking at 8” pendants _ do we need 4 or 5. The 60” side is essentially our dining spot with stools, the longer side has sink/trash/dishwasher. We will also have 4 recessed over walkways and under cabinets lighting along 2 walls.
