Best Outdoor All Weather Stain?

Took on the job of sanding and restaining our pergola and Man it's a big job. The old stain didn't hold up well. Any recommendations for a great stain I can get in Ontario?

This SITE does reviews of wood stains. It also talks about cleaning and maintaining decks. Transparent stain lasts the shortest time, with semi-transparent, semi-solid and solid stains generally each lasting a bit longer. But, the site notes that manufacturers have been changing formulations so that the old truism may no longer apply to all brands. This site is great! US based so we can't get some products. I just read that Sansin was really good ... Canadian company and not included here. Wish it was. So many mixed messages.

Well, that bites. I looked up Sansin and found THIS SITE. Their product sounds really good, and their website features projects not just in Canada but also in the U.S. and Netherlands. However, these featured projects were all commercial, and that could be why it doesn't come up in the site I linked to. I suggest you check out their site and call them to find out more.
