Monstera root & stem barrel! Can I regrow

Hi all, I came across this on a forum for free and took a chance that I could grow the leaves back. I just don't know how! Haha. I'm excited to try but would love some advice on what to do. I'm thinking I'll separate the roots and repot but really need some advice from seasoned pros! I've attached the picture for reference. All thoughts and opinions welcome. Thanks! Tony

pretty easy plant to propagate ...

i dont understand the pot and all .. since i didnt see it prior to cuttings .... but i would probably break it all apart.. bare root.. keep the good.. throw out the bad ... and start with fresh new media ... this stuff looks old ... and probably worn out ...

All that will start to grow in warm weather. Just water it.

Thanks for the notes! I want to break it up into several pots. Do I want to use the roots or just take cuttings and replant?
