check your local FB marketplace, Letgo, offer up, and local home rehab stores. You might luck out, or at least something to tide you over until you find the right thing. this is the kind of project that's worth waiting for.

also, have you heard of Buy Nothing facebook groups? people make requests for items all the time. you'd be surprised. sometimes people don't feel motivated to offer up their furniture until they see that somebody is looking for that very thing.

whatever you do, avoid the temptation of wayfair. their lower priced items are extremely low quality. not worth the effort.

sorry I know that's not exactly the answer you're looking for, just some advice if you can't find what you're looking for brand new. the pandemic is making shopping super hard right now. I predict it'll ease up in a few months.

Thanks so much! I have been watching marketplace but we aren't allowed to travel out of our health authority which is where anything interesting seems to be available. Great idea posting an "In search of" though I hadn't thought to try that yet! Appreciate the warning about Wayfair. I have seen quite a few things on marketplace that are brand new from Wayfair and thought there must be a reason people are selling these things without using them ha ha!! Appreciate the reply!
