Thanks. I read that the red is ornamental, and edible but not as good tasting as commercial edibles. Although I did not read mentions of mulltiple varieties of reds, I have to think that multiple varieties have been developed. I may dispose of the plant if the fruit tastes pretty bad.

Potted, not potted, either is fine. For me the key is sunlight. Two (not of this kind) were in ground for eight years, fruitless. I potted and moved them into sunny spots, they fruited. This red one is young. Originally in pot, now in ground.
