Kay, your blooms always look so wonderful to me. Of course, you do have advantage. After a long winter, my daylily deprived brain is craving daylilies, LOL, but these look really nice. You New Paradigm always attracts me. It reminds me a bit of Terry Lyninger, which I have and it has a couple scapes itself. I like Parrot Island too

Kay, your New Paradigm looks great. Ours never had that rich color in the eye. Nancy, New Paradigm is an offspring of the tet version of Terry Lyninger. I also like Spacecoast Eye for Passion. Thanks for sharing your photos. Bob found a third daylily with a scape, but it too is a species hybrid. I can't wait for the fancy ones to start.

Thank y'all for looking and commenting. Nancy and Nancy. This is my second New Paradigm. I always liked it and originally had it in a bad place and it died. I replaced it and made sure it was in a better spot. so far it does well. nancy, I moved S.C. Eye for Passion the year before last and it did very little last year, but it looks good now. It can't be long before more blooms are blooming in your gardens too. Brad, I am glad you enjoyed the blooms.

They are beginning to pop out, aren't they? These are so pretty. I like the Spacecoast Eye for Passion with that delicate edge. I agree your New Paradigm always is more vivid than mine. Mine always looks so washed out I almost gave it away a couple of years ago-then last year it looked much like yours-the best it has ever looked. It is a couple of days away from blooming so we will see if that color holds up this year! All this rain has made the foliage grow so tall I hope I will be able to see the lilies when they bloom!

Thanks Kate and Julia. each day there are a couple more adding their blooms now. It will soon warm up again and that will probably set them off.

Thank you Maryl and Sherry. I have had several more to bloom plus repeats so the season is gradually starting. This unusual cool spell is over tomorrow and that will just speed up the blooms.

You've got lots blooming now, and with this week's heat, they'll just keep getting prettier. I think my favorite is Spacecoast Eye for Passion.
