Coretec Calypso Oak

For those of you who have Calypso Oak, is it really as dark and orange looking as pictures make it look? I was dead set on using that color, but after seeing tons of pictures on here of it, I’m really second guessing it. I want that “white oak” feel. I love the look of the sample, but it doesn’t seem like that’s how it looks in photos!

Photos are never going to look like they look in person. I've seen Calypso Oak in person quite recently, and have a sample of it, and it's a light, neutral tan/beige color, not orange at all. If you're very interested in it, then order a box or two, so you can see it in bulk. Then you can lay out more than a few square feet of it, and drag it around to see how it looks in your home.

It’s so hard to picture what it looks like based on that tiny sample. Good idea to go ahead and just order a box.

Hi @ehendricks22 - I got my flooring from Riverwoods flooring in Indiana. Here is the link to their website : https://www.riverwoodsflooring.com . I got my flooring last year in 2021. The prices might have changed now. But I definitely recommend you to call them and get a price quote. They ship it free to your home and it is also 0$ tax.
