Navy blue with stainless hardware

I would pull the beige color from your rug so it doesn't show the dirt. Can you post a closer picture of the rug?

Maybe stain it a deep wood color? Otherwise for paint options I would consider:

-Blue with satin nickel hardware
-Deep green with really any color hardware maybe brushed gold.
-creamy beige with gold
-black with satin nickel
Options are endless what’s your style? What do you like the sound of most?

These are 3 different looks I found that I thought might look okay for paint colors, but wasn't sure. When I actually look up the three colors they all look really different from what these pictures show.

The first image you posted also looks good. Get lots of paint samples and check in space under correct lighting. I like the color vs the neutral color. Just seems more welcoming to me.

I agree, pick the teal color from the rug, for the paint. Its a nice area. Color will make it a fun area to be in too.

Tara you are on the right track for sure. Based on your rug here's the colors.

I would go with beachcomber and black hardware and the wood seat just due to the dirt factor but if I do like the Smoky Lazurite with black handles and wood contrast so depends on how much dirt you think it will see in how much you will feel you need to wipe it down. Dirt is an issue in our area but may not be where you are.

What a great mudroom he created! Since you're concerned with hiding dirt/wear-n-tear, I would choose the mushroom color you posted a few posts up. Darker colors show dirt almost more/as much as white. A darker neutral will help keep it looking fresh the longest. Then you can add either brass or black hardware/hooks.
