Where is the current light fixture at? Is it above the mirror?

that current light is the wrong style and color next to that mirror.

I'd lower the new light and get something w/more angular design. and it should have some brass in it

Kichler, Winslow. lower the hole an inch or two. you want the glass no more than a few inches above the mirror.

if you rotate the mirror, you may be ok. but you'd prob have to switch to a two light, not 3.

Hi there, I think it would work best to rotate the mirror vertically, you can probably move it higher as well, and add sconces either side of the mirror for better light diffusion.

sconces would look nice if you don't mind spending a lot more money. you'll have to have the current hole patched, skim coated, and painted. two new holes made w/the electrical fished down from the other. it's not difficult, just a lot more labor.
