I think a smooth, brightly colored shade for your rabbit lamp would be a nice way to add color. I like the pattern of your pull-down shade choice. The narrow stripes of the curtains read solid so I think the patterns will work well together. Can you get a sample to see if the colors are a good match with the curtains? Have you decided on bedding?

What a pretty room, the book rack is perfec. Also, love the print fabric that you have chosen for the shade. Can not see the stripes well enough to tell if the two prints will play well together. It would also help to see the crib and bedding.

Without details, you can add a fun pillow to your chair using your favorite color from the shade or an art print. One of the round pillows that resemble a flower would be cute, but you may prefer a lumbar pillow for comfort.

If you want to continue on with the theme multiple websites have framed Peter Rabbit prints available. Another option is go off theme a bit and use non-theme garden prints.

Thanks for the feedback! As suggested, I'm adding a photo of the crib and bedding (just stock photos as the crib is out of stock). I also decided that the curtains somehow clash (maybe with the walls??). They just don't look right to me for some reason. So, posted a few other options. If I go with the gingham, I assume I would need to go with the plain roller shade instead (probably white?).

Congratulations on baby! Love the room - looks like such a comfy & cozy chair for cuddling & reading to baby & absolutely love all the books! As for window treatments. I like the current position of rod & drapes & wouldn’t go lower. Drapes will just hang over books & shelf if lower. I also like current drapes & really not seeing stripes but more of a texture which I like. Also like the checks which do add some texture through the pattern. Print or solid color shade works for me with either drape.. Colorful & large Peter Rabbit themed art for walls would be great - babies like color! I’d frame them in white to match window (& maybe door? ) trim. The white frames will make the art pop on the green wall color. Art should be hung opposite walls from crib - safety & best viewing spot for baby in crib.
