Lighting Home Decorating Conversations Design Dilemma

Ceiling fixture.

We have a 8x8 inch electrical box with a lightbulb socket wired in the ceiling with 15 inches of insulation on top of it. i would like a flush mount light to cover the 8 by 8 inch hole. Prefer to use the light bulb socket as the power source so we don’t have to remove the box from the ceiling. Any ideas? Please!

you can wire any fixture into this electrical source, but you may have to use a decorative medallion to fill the gap around Any fixture you choose. I wouldn't mess with the pop corn texture, unless you are going to remove it all.
