Some blooming starting

No daylilies blooming here, I don’t even see any scapes. Please indulge my urge to show you what has started blooming in my gardens.

My Miss Kim lilac is getting started.

My favorite weigela, variegatEd leaves and pale pink blooms.

The only iris I grow, Edith Wolford and Batik.

Corydalis blooms all season, it’s a free seeder.

The first two clematis to bloom, wish I could recall the names right now.

The lilac is just gorgeous, I have the old fashioned purple and a white lilac, but they have finished blooming. Love going in the yard then. I have a newer lilac that blooms in spring and again in fall, but not nearly as fragrant. Corydalis is very pretty, I think I have a pink version.

Very pretty Sherry. The first clematis (pinkish) looks like Josephine. I loved mine in my old garden. Hope to be able to plant one here in the new garden.

Beautiful! I love the lilac. The iris Batik is my favorite of the two irises, but both are lovely. We used to have Batik but I haven't seen it bloom this year. The clematis are lovely, especially the second one.

Your lilac is fantastic! There was a lilac bush here when we arrived more than 30 years ago, but I was quite allergic to the flowers, and we cut it down. The irises and the clematis flowers are pretty too!

Love you lilac and the clematis are beautiful, Sherry. I especially liked Batik since it used to grow in my garden and I always liked the broken color.
